The Candida Diet Recipes
In December of 2021, I was diagnosed with Candida overgrowth, also known as thrush, that was causing massive amounts of pain and inflammation in my gut. I underwent the Candida Diet in January 2022. It wasn't something I necessarily wanted to do, but something I was forced into because of my lifestyle choices and choosing the Candida Diet best decision I have ever made. Candida has the opportunity to sit within your gut for years and years and if not taken care of will cause your body an unnecessary amount of stress. Throughout this article I give you Candida overgrowth cleansing recipes that your body will thank you for in the long run.

What is Candida & What are its symptoms?
Candida is a natural bacteria that grows in your mouth, digestive tract, vagina, and skin. I will be focusing on Candida Albicans or thrush, a specific Candida that grows and coexists with the microbiome of your gut. Not usually an issue until it causes overgrowth. Candida Albicans overgrowth can link to many different symptoms that you would never thought correlated with one another. For example, brain fog, anxiety, depression, bloating, gut inflammation, diarrhea, constipation, yeast infections, fatigue, and candida overgrowth can even go as far as affecting major organs in your body. This happens more often than not with people, and most don't realize it that Candida Albicans or thrush overgrowth is the underlying issue.
How do you get rid of Candida?
I'll keep it simple and to the point by saying, a drastic change in your diet is one of the best ways to get rid of Candida overgrowth, but specifically the Candida Diet. Cutting out all gluten products from recipes, most dairy's, very low all-natural sugar intake, cutting out caffeine, and absolutely no processed foods. People underestimate the power of food and what we ingest daily. There are antibiotics that can quicken the process of Candida die off that you can get recommended by a doctor but for now, I'll walk you through the all-natural way.

I cup Almond Flour

2 Diced Tomato’s
2 tbsp Fresh Ginger
4 Chopped Garlic Cloves
¼ head of Cauliflower

I’ll give a bit of instruction on this one because it took me a bit to perfect.
I start with prepping and grilling the cauliflower, carrots, and ginger in Olive oil for about 5-7 mins and then add in the full amount of coconut milk and spices and let it simmer the whole time I’m prepping and adding the rest of the ingredients to absorb the flavors. I put on the rice or rice noodles when all ingredients have been added to the dish. Allowing the ingredients to simmer and absorb all the flavors for about 15-20 minutes while the rice or noodles cook.

8 oz Salmon
2 Chopped Garlic Cloves
2 Handful Spinach

Home-made Tomato Sauce
10 tomatoes
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
4 garlic cloves
2 basil sprig
1 bay leaf
* Grate tomato skins off, and grate the remaining tomato into the pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Once brought to a boil reduce to a simmer and let it sit for 10-15 mins. *
-Chicken Satay w/ Almond Sauce Recipe
Chicken Marinade
1 package Organic Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
½ cup canned light coconut milk
½ of a lime, juiced
1 tablespoon Monk Sugar
2 teaspoons coconut aminos
½ teaspoon Sriracha
2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 tsp Paprika
¼ teaspoon ground coriander
Cilantro and chopped almonds for garnish
Almond Butter Dipping Sauce
¼ cup almond butter
¼ cup warm water
2 tablespoons canned light coconut milk
1 tablespoon monk sugar
½ of a lime
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
½ teaspoon coconut aminos
½ teaspoon Sriracha
After a 4-6 weeks of these Candida Diet Cleanse recipes, you will notice an immense change in your gut. I personally noticed higher changes in my energy, significantly less bloating, brighter skin, and the loss of sugar cravings along the way. My experience with thrush, or Candida, might be a bit different from others, but overall helped me so much I now incorporate these recipes into my daily life outside of just the Candida Cleanse.
